Account book, 1790-1813.

Records debits and credits accumulated by Hannah Matthews between 1790 and 1813. She performed such activities as combing "worsted" and stockings, weaving several types of fabric, and spinning linen yarn in exchange for lime, corn, flax, rye, mutton, hog lard, beef, candles, a day's labor, mowing, and cash. Most of the entries are crossed out, indicating that the accounts were settled.
